Pressing flowers/plants with wax paper...?

Does putting a flower or plant between two pieces of waxed paper and ironing it work?





Also, I%26#039;m going on a trip and planning to do this with flowers from there. Is that illegal?

FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy FlowersIt%26#039;s best to dry them slowly. I use wax paper between paper towels and a big thick Phone book, it takes about two weeks.
